During the event, attendees will be encouraged to make friends, enjoy a meal and check out our live DJ spinning the decks from 6pm.
This is a completely free event but registration is mandatory.
Support workers and carers are welcome (but please register your details via the ticket link). The Byford & Districts Country Club is fully wheelchair accessible. If the music gets too overwhelming or the dancing gets all too much, we have a large outdoor area for people to cool down and relax. Quiet rooms also available. No strobe lighting will be used.

Join us for our upcoming webinar to gain an understanding of Specialist Disability Accommodation presented in collaboration with leading NDIS Accommodation Providers, Sana Living.
This webinar is ideal for NDIS Support Coordinators wanting to enhance their ability to support participants, with extreme functional impairment or high physical support needs, in navigating their housing options.
During this session we’ll focus on the following key areas:
- Understanding SDA: Gain a comprehensive understanding of Specialist Disability Accommodation including the types, eligibility criteria and funding options available.
- SDA design standards: Explore how innovative design concepts are used to tailor living spaces for diverse needs, ensuring accessibility and comfort for individuals with disabilities.
- Navigating the SDA process: Learn the ins and outs of the SDA process, from applying for funding to getting assessments, finding vacancies, and signing lease agreements.
- Choosing a provider: Discover essential considerations when selecting an SDA provider to ensure they align with the specific needs and preferences of your participants.
- Open discussion: Engage with our experts during a Q&A session, where you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss best practices, challenges and future trends in SDA.

If you or anyone you know is a carer – whether your caring role is big or small, long-term or short-term, current or past – they would love to hear more. Complete the 2024 Carer Wellbeing Survey today and you can enter a draw to win a gift card.
Your feedback will be used to strengthen carer advocacy and shape national policy about the current wellbeing experiences of carers, and how support can be improved for carers across Australia.
The survey is voluntary, confidential and anonymous.

Wanslea partners with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to deliver the Early Childhood Approach. The Early Childhood Approach supports families of children under 6 years who may have a developmental concern or delay, or children under 9 years who have a permanent disability.
