Previously delivered in 2018/19, the initiative is to involve  low cost outings and excursions for senior-aged residents.

Once the survey has closed, the results will be presented to Council for them to consider whether bus excursions and outings for Seniors are to be reinstated. 

 As this will involve budgetary considerations, it is unknown as to when bus excursions would begin.

The Shire received a grant to enable the excursions to be delivered in the 2018/19 financial year. The grant was for a 12-month period only.

Since this time, similar bus outing services have been offered by other community groups within the Shire.
