Consultation has concluded and a decision has been made.

Outcome

At its March meeting, Council approved one Seniors’ Bus Excursion in the 2021/22 financial year within the remaining budget allocations and will also list he Seniors’ Bus Excursion program for consideration in the 2022/23 budget process.

Background

The Shire is seeking feedback from the community to ascertain interest in the reintroduction of the Seniors Bus Excursion program.
Previously delivered in 2018/19, the initiative involved low cost outings and excursions for Senior aged residents.
The results of this consultation will be presented to Council for them to consider reinstating bus outings and excursions for Senior’s within the community.

    The Shire is seeking feedback from the community to ascertain interest in the reintroduction of the Seniors Bus Excursion program.  Previously run in 2018/19, the program included low cost outings and excursions for Senior aged residents.
