The Shire has recently reviewed our Council Policy – Fireworks.
This Policy has been refined to best reflect the terminology and processes in current practice when a Local Government Authority responds to a Firework Event Notice.
It is important to note that the Shire is not the approval body for firework eventsand is only consulted during the assessment by the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety as the regulator in this regard.
