We're seeking your feedback to shape the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale's Public Health Plan 2024-2029. This is your chance to make a difference and help us create a happier, healthier community for everyone.

Background:

Our mission is to protect, promote, and enhance the health and wellbeing of the community. This strategy will focus on several key areas: healthy eating, physical activity, social connectedness, and positive mental health.

By promoting local food economies, enhancing the built environment for physical activity, and leveraging natural assets like the Darling Scarp and open spaces, we aim to create a healthier, more active, and resilient community.

We recognise that people's health and wellbeing are essential for a vibrant community.

Additionally, Public Health Plan identifies emerging health risks like obesity and ensures access to healthier foods while promoting active living through thoughtful design of the built environment.
