Kingsbury Drive Rehabilitation Works

These works have been completed.

Scheduled start date

31 January 2022

Estimated completion

February 2022

Project summary

Upgrades to Kingsbury Drive (the existing single carriageway road between Scarp Road and Day Road (SLK 22.95 to SLK 23.20)) will be carried out across January and February 2022.

These upgrades will increase road capacity and improve safety of Kingsbury Drive.

Through a successful application to the Metropolitan Regional Road Group (MRRG), the Shire received a grant-funding allocation of $145,000 to rehabilitate the Kingsbury pavement.

The Shire contracted WCP Civil to carry out the works scheduled to start 31 January 2022. They are estimated to take approximately 2-3 weeks to carry out.

Traffic management will be in place to ensure works are completed safely and delays are kept to a minimum.

The Shire appreciates your patience while these important road upgrades are carried out.
