The subject site is zoned ‘Showroom/Warehouse’ under the Shire’s Town Planning Scheme No.2 and ‘Service Commercial’ under the Draft Local Planning Scheme No.3. The property is provided a zoning designation of ‘Service Commercial’ within the Byford District Structure Plan.

The Shire is required to engage the community in accordance with Local Planning Policy 1.4 – Public Consultation for Planning Matters (LPP1.4). 

Any feedback or comments on the proposed development will be considered as part of the assessment.

The determination of applications for development approval made to the Joint Development Assessment Panel (JDAP) will be determined by the JDAP in accordance with Planning and Development (Development Assessment Panels) Regulations 2011.
