Proposed Educational Establishment - Lot 9 Watkins Road, Mundijong

Background

The Shire has received a development application for which comments were sought for a proposed ‘Educational Establishment’ comprising of the following:

• A secondary school accommodating up to 50 students and 5 staff members;
• Three classrooms, a commercial kitchen and store;
• Administrative Building
• Seven sheds
• A workshop and a Samoan hut; and
• 11 parking bays and one bus bay
• Operation hours of 8.30am to 5pm

The school places a focus on outdoor activities and also includes:

• Outdoor gardens
• A livestock area
• A chicken coop
