At its February meeting, Council approved the development application for extension and alterations including signage at Lot 1 and Lot 2, 865 South Western Highway, Byford subject to conditions.

Background

The Shire has received a development application for works to the existing building at Lots 1 & 2, 865 South Western Highway, Byford.

The development application is confined to considering the proposed physical works to the exterior of the building. The use of the building is not subject to this application. The application seeks approval for the following works:

• The replacement of the existing loading dock, including artwork treatments to the George Street façade of the loading dock wall;
• Widening of the crossovers to George Street;
• Signage; and
• A supplementary screening frame with vertical planting rods along the George Street frontage.
