Jarrahdale Outdoor Hub to bring public space to life
A new and improved public space is on the horizon for the Jarrahdale community, with Stage 1 works for the Jarrahdale Outdoor Hub set to commence by November 2023.
Led by the Jarrahdale Community Collective and funded by the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale, Alcoa and the Department of Local Government and Cultural Industries, the project will transform the area behind Bruno Gianatti Hall into a vibrant and versatile outdoor hub.
Stage 1 works will involve the removal of some of the older playground equipment to create an open irrigated turf area with new planting and pathway connections to the remaining play area.
The turf area will provide a flexible space for picnics, get-togethers and small community events in the heart of Jarrahdale.
