Consultation has concluded and a decision has been made.
Outcome
Council adopted the Equine Facilities Master Plan at its December 2022 meeting.
The plan will ensure the Shire understands and captures current facility provision, as well as future needs, to adequately support equine disciplines in the Shire and maximise functionality of current assets now and into the future.
These reserves include:
Tallagandra Reserve
Serpentine Sports Reserve
King Road Reserve
Gossage Road Reserve
70 Acres, Darling Downs
Adoption of the Equine Facilities Master Plan followed an extensive community consultation period, and aligns with the Shire's vision to be recognised as the leading equine community in Western Australia.

The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale has engaged community planning consultants CCS Strategic to develop a Master Plan for Equine facility requirements in the Shire. Your input into this fact finding survey will contribute to the development of a representative plan for the horse loving community.
Submissions for this survey close 2pm, 4 April 2022.
