Draft Banksia Woodland Management Plan
Thank you for your feedback. We’re actively reviewing all the input we’ve received.
Background:
The Shire is seeking community input on the draft Banksia Woodland Management Plan.
The Shire has a number of individual management plans for natural area reserves. Many of these management plans are more than ten years old and require updating. In the meantime, the best practice style for a management plan has also changed.
The draft Banksia Woodland Management Plan presents a new style for managing the Shire’s natural reserves. The reserves are grouped according to vegetation complex into four management plans, with the draft Banksia Woodland Management Plan being the first produced.
The draft Banksia Woodland Management Plan contains information relevant to managing any area of banksia woodland, plus Action Plans for the nine Shire reserves which contain banksia woodland.
