Development Application to Amend an approved Place of Worship and Caretakers Dwelling - Lot 7 Kargotich Road, Oldbury

Background:

The Shire has received a development application for an amendment to an approved ‘Place of Worship’, seeking approval to increase the floor area and alter the site layout.

Specifically, the proposal includes the following:

• Increase the size and location of the Meditation Hall;
• Increase to the Lunch Hall area;
• Increase the number car parking bays;
• Addition of covered walkways between structures;
• Relocation of the kitchen, caretakers' dwellings, amenities and shoe store;
• Alteration of the layout of the car parking and landscaped areas;
• Increase the number of car parking bays; and
• Addition of swale to capture stormwater run -off.
