Development Application – Proposed Extension to Place of Worship (non-conforming use) – Lot 800, 289 Masters Road, Darling Downs

Background

The Shire has received an Application for Development Approval for an extension to an existing place of worship at Lot 800, 289 Masters Road, Darling Downs.

This application proposes:

• An additional nave (church hall) and store to the existing structure.

o The additional building area is approximately 525m2 and would connect to the existing building by way of the atrium space.

• An additional porch/canopy with a drive through area for dropping patrons off to the front door of the church.

• An additional car park area to the west of the existing area.
