Development Application – Proposed Amendment to Approved Concrete Batching Plant – Lot 202 South Western Highway, Whitby

Background

The application seeks to amend an existing approval for a Concrete Batching Plant to utilise the facility for the purpose of crushing recycled material from the plant.

Unused material from the existing operations are proposed to be returned to the facility, crushed and reused in the concrete production process. The proposal would result in one additional truck movement per day. There would be no change to the existing staff numbers or hours of operation.
