Is there a maximum amount payable for a crossover subsidy rate?
Yes, currently a subsidy of up to $400 may be paid towards the cost of construction of a crossover, provided it meets specifications to enable subsidy approval.
Does this Policy apply when the crossing is provided by the Subdivider/Developer?
In regard to the location, design and specification, yes, this Policy applies.
In regard to payment of a subsidy, No. This Policy does not apply when a crossing is to be provided / is provided by the Developer.
Does this Policy apply when the crossing is for a commercial or industrial crossover?
No. Applications regarding commercial or industrial crossovers require consultation with the Shire, and Shire approval prior to construction, to ensure the crossover is designed to accommodate the required vehicle/s servicing the development.
