Consultation has concluded and outcomes have been published.
Thank you to everyone who completed our 2021 Community Safety Survey.
We received 196 responses, and the top safety concerns were Burglary (44%) followed by Road User Behaviour (42%).
Survey results also revealed that people would like to see more focus on the strengthening of relationships between residents and neighbourhoods as well a focus on raising community awareness of crime prevention and safety.
Local Police and Neighbourhood Watch have been proactive within the community educating local residents about simple crime prevention and community safety measures that they can implement. The Shire, WA Police and Neighbourhood Watch have been involved in the following initiatives to promote community safety and strengthen community relationships:
Mundijong Blue Tree Event focusing on mental health;
Gone in Less than 60 Seconds promotions at local shopping centres to address theft from motor vehicles; and
Community Barbecues with a focus on the strengthening of relationships between residents and neighbourhoods.

The Community Safety Survey received a total of 196 responses.
Top safety concerns were Burglary (44%) followed by Road User Behaviour (42%). Together with the Shire, Mundijong Police continue to address these concerns as outlined in the survey results.
