Cardup Brook Precinct Local Structure Plan Amendment No.11

The Shire is currently reviewing feedback provided on the proposed The Glades, Byford Local Structure Plan Amendment No.11 for the Cardup Brook Precinct.

A Local Structure Plan generally sets out how land is proposed to be developed, identifying roads, residential land, commercial land and parks.

The Local Structure Plan Amendment No.11 proposes the following changes:

• Revised road layout
• Re-distribution of residential densities and introduction of density code ranges.
• Refinement of Public Open Space distribution and location and incorporation of District Open Space facility; and
• Rationalisation of existing mixed use and neighbourhood node sites, and identification of new mixed use and service commercial sites.

The public comment period has now closed.

Outcome:

Approved. Decision by Statutory Planning Committee of the WAPC in July 2024 to request modifications.
