Progress update September 2024

The Shire has received approval from the Department of Environment, Water and Regulation (DWER) to clear trees from the Stage 2 Skate Park site. As part of the permit conditions, the Shire will carry out revegetation efforts in the neighbouring Brickwood Reserve. This approval allows the project to progress, and the team is working closely with Skate Sculpture to plan the next steps. Construction is now scheduled to begin in March 2025, bringing us one step closer to delivering an exciting new facility for the community.
