I am writing to you today to inform you of an important and unique opportunity that you have to ensure that carers are prioritised leading up to the WA State Election.

Over the last few months, with the help of carers like yourself, we have identified five key priorities. We have now written to every Member of Parliament and every election candidate to enquire about their commitment to carers within these five areas and will share any responses we receive on our dedicated webpage (www.carerswa.asn.au/carers-count).

• Grants for WA Carers (for respite and financial hardship)
• A WA Carer Card Program
• A New WA Carers Strategy
• Increased Support for Regional and Young Carers
• Service Navigation Support for Carers
