What is a masterplan?
A master plan is a coordinated and planned approach to map the existing trails and inform the future development of equine trails across the Shire.
The document produced through this process will also allow the Shire and user groups to advocate and apply for funding to support the developments identified.
It will also include an on-ground audit of existing trails and infrastructure, a gap analysis of all equine trails available in the Shire, including Shire managed land and other lands managed by other organisations. This will help to provide future direction of the development of Equine Trails in this Shire.
Who will approve the Equine Trails Masterplan
Council will consider the Equine Trails Masterplan and make a decision on its approval once consultation with the community and key users of Shire facilities has been concluded.
