Proposed Dog Local Law 2022 Survey

The new proposed Dog Local Law 2022 will replace the Shire’s current Local Law- Keeping of Dogs (2004) and be better suited to the communities needs and expectations.
 

The proposed Dog Local Law 2022 provides the additional requirements for the keeping of dogs:

1. dogs are adequately confined by fence, gate, enclosure or other confinement measures
2. dogs are not a nuisance
3. the requirement to pick up excrement after your dog
